Frequently Asked Questions:

1. How can I determine if I am eligible for the course? Are there prerequisites?

CFATC staff will provide you with a self-assessment test and instructions. With this and your review of the course syllabus, you essentially provide your own assessment based on your knowledge base, learning style, and determination level, as the course is rigorous and fast paced.

2. Are single classes available for open registration?

Yes. You can register for any one or combination of classes for the rates applicable to that course.  At this time, there are no awards for single classes, just the full 200-hour course.

3. When will I be notified of my acceptance to the program?
Within 5 business days of receipt of your application and deposit, we will notify you via email.

4. What certifications are provided as a result of this course?

CFATC will provide a detailed Certificate of Completion. Our individual training providers will issue certifications based on your completion and work experience. AccessData and Guidance Software Corporation are highly respected and useful career certifications, and must be earned and renewed on a regular basis.

5.  When will I be notified of a grant award for tuition?
Notification will be made to all eligible students prior to August 1, 2008 or as soon as possible.
